MagCore® HF48 is the bigger version of the MagCore HF 16. With a user friendly design and built-in programs, up to 48 samples can be isolated at your fingertip.
The MagCore HF 48 is a stand-alone model, opposed to the MagCore HF 16 the HF48 does not need to be placed on a table. The convenient storage below the mechanical part, allows for storage of kits and reagents needed for daily operations.
Due to the design of the instrument and the extremely high quality production facility for both instrument and reagent cartridges, the system and its reagents are CE-IVD certified. The CE-IVD certification decreases the demands for validations before using the RBC MagCore as your standard DNA isolation technique in either a Research or Diagnostic environment.
To increase the ease of use and for tracking and tracing options, a barcode scanner can be connected to the system. To print results, a thermo-printer is available.
CE-IVDD certificated reagent kits are currently available for various samples such as:
- Whole blood
- Body fluids
- Cultured cells
Depending on the sample material, the sample starting volume varies. For whole blood, sample volumes of up to 2 ml can be used.
All RBC CE-IVD certificated reagent kits are based upon the patented magnetic beads. The cellulose coated beads result in a high binding capacity and a high purity of the nucleic acids.
To prevent cross-contamination, the system is equipped with a UV light.
With over 50 different reagent kits, the MagCore HF 16 plus and RBC reagent kits are the CE-IVD certified option for nearly any Nucleic Acid extraction. Due to its versatility and high quality, the RBC Biosciences MagCore products have even been approved by the FDA. Despite the large globally installed base, RBC biosciences remains an ambitious company always striving for improvements and the release of new products. The most recent releases include a cartridge designed specifically to be used within the forensic labs. In the near future more isolation solutions may be expected to be launched by RBC biosciences on both the hardware and the reagent side.
