About FastGene Electrophoresis Protein
The FastGene Protein Electrophoresis chamber was developed specifically for the use of precast PAA (10 x 8 cm) gels for protein electrophoresis. It is made of highly pure, crystal-clear plastic, which facilitates the application of the sample and allows good visual control during electrophoresis. It can be run simultaneously with two gels. The assembly of the gels into the chamber is facilitated by using an innovative ‘wedge system’ that prevents leakage of the buffer reservoir. During electrophoresis, the gel cassettes from both sides are surrounded with running buffer to allow for efficient cooling and thus sharp protein bands. The chamber is manufactured according to CE directives.
The FastGene electrophoresis chamber comes includes the lid with cables, the buffer chamber anode, the buffer chamber cathode gaskets, wedges and two acryl plates.
The FastGene Precast Protein gels will eliminate the time consuming gel pouring activities. The precast gels increase reproducibility, consistency and eliminate the chance of errors during pouring. The wide range of precast gels will facilitate most common protein electrophoresis experiments.
Protein ladders and markers provided by Nippon Genetics are alternatives to the commonly used protein ladders and markers. The ladders and markers come in different variations such as the single colored JustBlue Prestained protein marker and the double colored Pink prestained protein marker. Nippon Genetics also provides the triple colored BlueEasy, BlueStar and BlueStar Plus Protein markers.
To complete the Protein Electrophoresis product range, the FastGene MOPS buffer and Tris-Glycine loading buffers are provided. The FastGene Tris-MOPS-SDS buffer powder is a high resolution buffer accommodating a fast electrophoresis run. The IDSolTM running and loading buffers are available as ready-to-use solutions or as measured powder. The measured powder accommodates for the preparation of 1 liter of buffer. The IDSolTM Tris-Glycine loading buffers are available in multiple variations such as Tris-Glycine, Tris-Glycine-SDS and Tris-Glycine-SDS including Mercaptoethanol.
