FastGene FAS Digi Imaging System
FastGene FAS Digi Imaging System is an instrument of a transilluminator equipped with state of the art blue and green LED’s. With a wavelength of 480-530nm, lights are emit through these LEDs. This enables the excitation of green dyes (Midori Green) bound to DNA, with fluorescent emission at a wavelength of approximately 530nm as a result. The blue/Green LED technology makes it possible that the transilluminator to be used with red nucleic acid dyes.
Recording of images
By using the high quality Pentax MX-1 digital camera, the FastGene FAS Digi Imaging System is able to record all images in common JPEG. Besides this, the camera is able to record images using RAW format for complex analyses
